EDUCATION
MS in Human Factors Engineering/Psychology or related field (e.g., industrial/systems engineering, cognitive neuroscience, perception, industrial/organizational psychology, or ergonomics) from a fully accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years related experience. Healthcare related experience required. Must have strong consulting skills, strong presentation skills and experience managing or facilitating change from a consultative role.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Advanced computer skills with demonstration of skill and competence in use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications requiredKnowledge of human performance analysis and improvement methods, techniques and best practices required. Good understanding of research processes and methodologies including qualitative and quantitative research methods.Effective team management and communication skills. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research team and deliver timely outcomes.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Ability to lift up to approximately 100 pound manikin and associated equipment preferred.Works in an office environment; requires walking, standing, and long periods of sitting and computer use; intact sense of sight and hearing required.Travels to YNHHS facilities in personal vehicle as needed.
